In the past 24 hours, there have been a total of 28,276 confirmed COVID-19 cases globally, including 3,722 new cases. China reported 3,697 new cases, bringing their total to 28,060, with 640 new severe cases and 73 new deaths. The risk assessment by WHO indicates a very high risk at the regional level in China and a high risk globally.
