In the past 24 hours, there have been no reports of new cases of 2019-nCoV acute respiratory disease in any countries.
• The World Health Organization (WHO) is receiving case information from multiple countries. As more details emerge, WHO urges countries to promptly share information as outlined in the guidelines for Global Surveillance for human infection with the novel coronavirus (2019-nCoV).
• The first fatality outside of China has been recorded in the Philippines. The patient had close contact with the initial confirmed case in the Philippines.
• To address the significant demand for up-to-date and reliable information on 2019-nCoV, WHO's technical risk communication and social media teams are collaborating closely to monitor and address misconceptions and rumors.
